Our Services

ONE STUDIO. THREE DISCIPLINES.

Build the brand growth runs on.

Your website is rarely just a website. It's the storefront, the credibility check, the booking system, the place where someone decides whether you're worth their time. We treat it that way.

Websites
Built like a product, not a template.

A brand isn't a logo. It's the consistency between everything you make — the website, the ads, the deck you send a client, the Instagram grid, the e-book you ship as a lead magnet. When all those surfaces agree, you read as a real company. When they don't, you don't.

Creative Services
Every surface, on purpose.

A great site doesn't market itself, and a polished brand doesn't get distributed by accident. The work that fills the funnel — that gets you found, gets you read, gets you remembered — is its own discipline.

Marketing
Found. Read. Remembered.

Frequently
asked questions
Let's talk ↗

Got questions? Here we answer the most common ones about how we work, what we charge, and what you can expect.

How much should I invest in a business website?+
The more useful question is what a new client is worth to you. If a single client relationship is worth a few thousand dollars over its lifetime, a website that brings in two or three of them has already paid for itself — and it keeps working after that. A custom site is a capital investment with a multi-year life, not a monthly expense: it doesn't reset when a subscription lapses, and it doesn't need rebuilding when you want to add a service or a second language.
Is a custom website better than WordPress or Squarespace?+
It depends on what you need. Template platforms are faster and cheaper to launch, and they're a reasonable choice for a simple brochure site. A custom build makes sense when you need speed, control over your own content structure, accessibility compliance, or a site that won't need rebuilding as your business grows. The practical difference shows up in year three, not month one.
How long does it take to build a custom website?+
Most custom websites take 14 to 28 business days from kickoff to launch. Smaller projects like landing pages take about a week; e-commerce and custom applications take longer. The timeline depends more on how quickly content and feedback come back than on the build itself.
Should I redesign my website or start over?+
Start over when the underlying platform is the problem — slow loading, no mobile support, or a structure you can't change without fighting it. Redesign when the content and structure work but the site looks dated. A redesign on a solid foundation typically costs around a third of a full custom build.
What ongoing costs come with a custom website?+
Expect hosting and domain renewal, plus optional maintenance. Hosting for a modern static site is inexpensive, often under $20 a month. A care plan covering updates, monitoring, and small content changes typically runs around $120 a month. Unlike template platforms, there are no mandatory monthly subscription fees to keep the site online — Muselevel's care plan is optional, not a condition of keeping your site running.
Do I need a CMS for my business website?+
Yes, in almost every case. A CMS (content management system) is what lets you edit your own text, add pages, and publish updates without a developer. Even businesses that say they'll never touch it usually do — a new service, a price change, a seasonal note. Building without one means paying a developer every time something changes. Muselevel includes a CMS in every build, landing pages included, so content stays editable from day one.
What's the difference between a landing page and a full website?+
A landing page is a single page built around one action — book a call, buy a product, sign up. A full website has multiple pages serving different purposes: services, portfolio, about, contact. Landing pages work well for a specific campaign or product launch; a full site is what you need for ongoing business presence and search visibility.
How do I get my business to show up in AI search results?+
AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity cite sources that answer questions directly and clearly. That means writing content that answers real customer questions in plain language, using structured data so machines can parse your business details, and making sure your site is actually readable by AI crawlers — many sites unknowingly block them. Muselevel builds sites that are readable by AI crawlers by default and structures content so it can be cited directly.
Do I need a bilingual website in Ontario?+
It depends on your customers, not on the law — private businesses in Ontario aren't required to offer French. But if you serve francophone communities or want to reach the roughly 4% of Ontarians whose first language is French, a bilingual site removes a real barrier. It's substantially cheaper to plan bilingual from the start than to retrofit. Muselevel builds bilingual sites as a single system rather than two parallel sites.
What services does Muselevel offer?+
Muselevel offers brand identity, custom website design and development, and SEO — including optimization for AI search visibility. Projects range from landing pages and marketing sites to e-commerce and custom web applications. The studio works with small and mid-sized businesses across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area from its base in Burlington, Ontario.
